Eko Trust works closely with the East London Research School and the East London Early Years and Schools Partnership (ELEYSP). The Research School relationship was made with Kaizen Primary School which is the teaching school at Eko Trust and a founding member of the ELEYSP.
The aim of the nationally recognised Research School is to improve the life chances of children and young people in East London.
The team at the East London Research School has developed the Manor Park Talks which is an EEF-funded programme to improve children’s early communication. They are currently working with the Department for Education on developing the curriculum for the Early Years.
Other key partners that they work with include the UCL Institute of Education, the World’s Number One university for education. East London Research School is focused on improving the quality and impact of Professional Development and to ensure that it is based on research and evidence.
